TMT Charters offer the following Day Cruises :

From PORT OWEN MARINA we offer various one day sailing cruises :

Option 1 - FULL DAY OUT  (8 to 10 Hours) (For information on St Helena Bay Sailing Conditions : Please go to Menu reference "St Helena Bay info")

Theme: Sailing up to 15 Nautical Miles, watching out for Whales, Dolphins, Mola Molas and Seals. Anchor at one of the beautiful Anchorages in the Bay, Having Refreshments and Lunch onboard and relax, spent some time on the beach.

Get together at the PORT OWEN MARINA at a pre determined time that will be arranged when you book the cruise (Normally 09h00 in Summer and 08h30 in Winter). Meet the Crew and get acquainted. Board Catlyn and get familiar with the Catamaran, facilities, safety features and rules, passage for the day, suggested activities, weather forecast etc. Motor out of the Marina towards the Bergriver watching the beautiful waterfront properties. Once in the Bergriver you will be entertained by the abundant birdlife. Passing the fishing trawlers in Laaiplek towards the mouth. Enter the open sea, get the sails up and follow the wind towards a pre planned anchorage in the St Helena Bay. While sailing, relax onboard and enjoy the cruising life by reading a book, take a nap, watch a DVD, listen to your favourite music, tan on the foredeck, lying on the trampoline, or sitting at the stern in the Hammock, watching your surroundings for sea life (Dolphins, Whales, Mola Molas, Seals, Birds, Penguins etc). Get a crash course about sailing techniques. Take the wheel for a while under supervision of the Captain. Enjoy the snacks and refreshments. Anchor at one of the Anchorages, enjoy the wind surfer, kayak or motorised dinghy. Go ashore, walk around and spent some time on the beach. Get onboard for lunch. Sail back after lunch to enter the Bergriver to berth at Port Owen with a day full of memories.

Includes : 3 Course Meal for Lunch, 2 glasses of Wine or Beer. Unlimited Fresh Juice, Cold drinks, Coffee or Tea. Snacks and other refreshments during the day. Use of wind surfer, kayak and motorised dinghy. Pre arranged menus available.

Price : R 1 250 per person (Catlyn is registered at SAMSA Category B commercial - maximum 12 people including crew of 2)

Private use of the Catamaran for a Full Day Cruise. Price R 1 000 per hour.

Group Bookings available for maximum of 10 people with a pre-arranged itinerary and menu.

Bookings : Credit Card details are required to confirm the booking.

Cancellations : Only fully refundable if trip is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions

Weather : Cruise subject to suitable weather/sea conditions. If conditions are unsuitable, we will re-schedule the cruise or we will refund 100%.

Theme: Sailing up to 40 Nautical Miles, trawling some fishing lines, watching out for Whales, Dolphins, Mola Molas and Seals. Having Refreshments and Lunch onboard and relax while sailing.
