Prices : R 1 250 per person per day (Full board)
Private use of the Catamaran for Overnight Charters. Price R 6 000 per day plus Meals, Refreshments etc.
Bookings : Credit Card details are required to confirm the booking.
Cancellations : Only fully refundable if trip is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions
Weather : Cruise subject to suitable weather/sea conditions. If conditions are unsuitable, we will re-schedule the cruise or we will refund 100%.
The One Night Out Charter
This options is a charter for 2 days, 1 overnight. The itinerary can vary, depending on the weather and clients requests:
- Port Owen - Slippers Bay - Sandy Point Harbour - Anchor at Stompneus Bay for the night - Shelley Point - Britania Bay - Port Owen
- Port Owen - Shelley Point - Anchor at Paternoster for the night - Shelley Point - Port Owen
- Port Owen - Open Sea - Shelley Point - Stompneus Bay - Sandy Point Harbour - Anchor at Slippers Bay for the night - Open Sea - Port Owen.
- Port Owen - Open Sea - Anchor at Elands Bay for the night - Open Sea - Port Owen
- Port Owen - Elands Bay - Anchor at Lamberts Bay for the night - Open Sea - Port Owen
Day 1
Get together at the PORT OWEN MARINA at a pre determined time that will be arranged when you book the cruise (Normally 09h00 in Summer and 08h30 in Winter). Meet the Crew and get acquainted. Board Catlyn and get familiar with the Catamaran, facilities, safety features and rules, passage for the day, suggested activities, weather forecast etc. Motor out of the Marina towards the Bergriver watching the beautiful waterfront properties. Once in the Bergriver you will be entertained by the abundant birdlife. Passing the fishing trawlers in Laaiplek towards the mouth. Enter the open sea, get the sails up and follow the wind towards a pre planned itinerary. While sailing, relax onboard and enjoy the cruising life by reading a book, take a nap, watch a DVD, listen to your favourite music, tan on the foredeck, lying on the trampoline, or sitting at the stern in the Hammock, watching your surroundings for sea life (Dolphins, Whales, Mola Molas, Seals, Birds, Penguins etc). Get a crash course about sailing techniques. Take the wheel for a while under supervision of the Captain. Enjoy the snacks and refreshments. Depending on the itinerary, anchor for lunch or enjoy lunch while sailing. Anchor at one of the pre planned Anchorages for the night, enjoy the wind surfer, kayak or motorised dinghy. Go ashore, walk around and spent some time on the beach or the Town. Have some sundowners, relax and get ready for a Gourmet dinner on board or dine out to experience true West Coast cuisine depending on where your Anchorage is for the night :

Stompneus Bay - Option to dine at the
Paternoster - Option to dine at the Voorstrandt Restaurant.
Lamberts Bay - Option to dine at the Die Kreefhuis Restaurant.
Have a good night rest and experience the life of thousands cruisers around the world.
Day 2
After breakfast sail back to Port Owen as per the pre arranged itinerary. Trawl for that lucky catch of the day and enjoy same activities as day 1 aboard Catlyn. Have lunch at an anchorage or while sailing. Arrive late afternoon at Port Owen.
The Two Nights Out Charter
This option is for a charter of 3 days, 2 overnights. The itinerary can vary, depending on the weather and clients requests:
- Port Owen - Anchor at Elands Bay - Anchor at Lamberts Bay - Port Owen
- Port Owen - St Helena Bay (visit Slippers Bay, Sandy Point Harbour) - Anchor at Stompneus Bay - Shelley Point - Anchor at Paternoster - Shelley Point - Port Owen.
- Port Owen - Anchor at Paternoster - Anchor at Saldanha Bay - Club Mykonos
